Dad: i thought that Nathan did a great job cooking. i thought he would mess up but he proved me wrong.

Mom: Nathan did a good job cooking. it was nice getting a night off. maybe he should do this more often.

Hayden: i thought that Nathan would mess up. i was just hoping that the food was edible. he did a good jab.

Reflection

This experience was truly humbling. I have never had so much trouble cooking in my life. I now realize what our moms have to go through almost every night. They have to prepare a meal. Before this experience I though being a mom was always easy. They didn't have to do anything except cook one meal a day, and work. when I had to make a meal it suddenly hit me. This is much harder than it looks. They have to make three dishes every night. After we had our meal I thanked my mom for all of the meals that she has cooked me. this experience was life changing. I now know what it is like to have to cook a dinner. 

Prayers

for our prayers i said:

Dear Lord,
thankyou fo all that you have given us. we are so blessed and thankful. you are the almighty being always looking over us and protecting us. we shall be forever in your debt. Amen

at the end i said:

Lord,
this great meal could not have been done with out you. we love you and praise you.
Amen
